Mandate: The mandate of the health policy education committee is to develop strategies to address the educational needs of AADSM members in areas of health policy such as Medicare rules and regulations, durable medical equipment (DME) definitions and criteria, and private insurance reimbursement for oral appliance therapy (OAT).
