Registration for the 2026 AADSM Annual Meeting is required in order to register for the Evolving Trends in Sleep Data: From Sleep Study Interpretation to Therapy Optimization course.
Course Overview
The Evolving Trends in Sleep Data: From Sleep Study Interpretations to Therapy Optimization is a one-day interactive course that will take place the day prior to the 2026 AADSM Annual Meeting general session.
Not all sleep data is created equal. Between polysomnography, home sleep testing devices, patient wearables, and smart-bed technology, the volume of available information can be overwhelming—and not all of it is clinically meaningful.
Join us for an engaging update on sleep-data interpretation. Using real patient scenarios, faculty will engage the audience and review what sleep physicians prioritize when evaluating sleep data, how sleep data can be used throughout oral appliance therapy, and how to communicate confidently about sleep data with both patients and physicians.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and interpret the most clinically important data across polysomnography, home sleep tests, and consumer sleep technologies, with an understanding of what sleep physicians consider essential in evaluating sleep disorders.
- Utilize sleep data throughout oral appliance therapy to inform candidacy, identify therapeutic position, and ensure long-term therapeutic success using appropriate data, validated metrics, and the key indicators valued by sleep physicians.
- Communicate confidently with patients about the capabilities and limitations of their wearable devices, smartphone apps, and smart-bed systems used to track sleep.
